If you are a nurse or a health care professional and have an interest in clinical research then look no further. This is an exciting opportunity to join our established and experienced clinical research team at Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. CHFT is based across two acute sites in Huddersfield and Halifax as well as some community sites, the successful applicant will be expected to work across all sites. It is one of few NHS organisations recognised as an "investor in people" and works to involve, support and develop staff within the organisation. At CHFT we are keen to promote research as part of patient care, enhancing patient experience and outcomes through research and innovation, across differing specialties across a range of portfolios both commercial and non-commercial. During the Covid-19 pandemic we have been invloved in both national and international trials and recruited patients into vital research. The successful candidate will support senior research nurses across differing specialties across a range of portfolios. You will also be expected to, once trained and competent, to undergo taking Informed Consent and to lead on some Non-interventional studies. The role will involve working flexibly within the team yet have the ability and confidence to work independently when needed. A comprehensive induction and training program will be provided, as well as on-going support. The post is for 37.5 hours fixed term for 12 months initially, but may be extended dependent on funding.
