Job Title Product Owner Product Owner Mastercard are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Product Owner to join their Product organisation working on one of their market leading payment products. Working collaboratively with the Product Management, Engineering and Delivery functions, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to drive the delivery of their product vision. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand product requirements and define the 'what' during product development Be a passionate advocate of the product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle Work with the Engineering team to help define and elaborate epics and user stories Manage prioritisation of the product backlog to be continually aligned to business value Ensure the product backlog is visible to stakeholders to ensure transparency Accept completed epics and stories according to your Definition of Done Act as knowledge broker to resolve blockers The successful Product Owner will have the following - Essential skills Successful B2B or B2C product development experience Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent collaborative, analytical and problem solving skills Recent experience of working within agile frameworks Ability to plan and organise effectively and deliver to deadlines An agile mindset with willingness to learn and adapt quickly to changing priorities An entrepreneurial spirit coupled with good negotiating skills Desirable skills Technical appreciation of modern software architecture Knowledge of the UK and International Payments Market, specifically ACH payments Experience in working with offshore development teams Mastercard is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
