Overview
Production Assistant Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire (WD3 1PQ) Permanent, Full Time We are a successful and expanding Sub-Contract Engineering company in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, supplying high quality components to a wide range of industries including aerospace, medical and motorsport. Due to our growing order-book we are seeking a Production Assistant to join our busy Production team on a permanent basis. Duties of the Production Assistant will include: Supporting the Production team in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. Assisting with preparation and planning of jobs on the workshop floor. Ensuring materials, tooling etc is available on the shop floor in time for machine set ups. Other Production related duties as required. Essential experience / skills: Experience in a similar sub contract environment desirable. Some experience of machining / Engineering processes would be advantageous but not essential. Excellent attention to detail, good level of numeracy. Excellent communication skills. Must be a proactive, self-motivated and flexible team player. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. Starting at 21 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays (up to 23 days Bank hols after 2 years’ service). Pension scheme. Private medical care available after qualifying period. Job type: Permanent / Full Time. Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:30am- 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm. Starting Salary: £18k -£22k (Depending on Experience).
