Position summary The EMEA & APAC Field Marketing Lead ensures we are delivering high performing marketing programs across the customer lifecycle in our direct and indirect regions to drive demand. Working with the VP of Marketing, this position provides subject matter expertise for field marketing and marketing operations in the region, to ensure we are developing sound regional plans in support of the larger global strategy and that the components of the delivery are well-defined, well-built and ultimately executed with intended results. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing all-rounder who can easily distill information and make strategic and tactical decisions that drive brand awareness and qualified sales opportunities for the company in our chosen markets. This is a player-coach role, so we are looking for someone who can be the go-to person for the team, but who is also wishing to be directly responsible for the execution of Marketing activities in the region. Essential functions and responsibilities * Acts in a consultative role with local sales directors and marketers in distilling sales goals into marketing plans that drive sales. Apply deep understanding of the marketing mix and best practices to add value to how we develop and deploy regional plans, taking into consideration local market sales models, benchmarks, historical performance and more. * Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the Marketing Leads & marketing automation specialist, to help navigate the developmental aspects of their plans, as well as the tactical delivery and optimsation. * Make sure best practices are well understood and adhered to particularly around consistent delivery of brand experience, work involving systems like GoToWebinar, Salesforce.com, Marketo, WordPress and more. * Own and deliver the regional marketing plan for Winshuttle's new EnterWorks product line, to support the go-to-market strategy in Europe. * Support with the planning and execution of global campaign responsibilities as assigned. * Provide guidance to the EMEA marketing team. * Drive timely and consistent communication of results and optimisations within and beyond the marketing team. * Leverage the help of internal team members across the company as well as third party experts, vendors and suppliers to deliver on marketing programs in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. Desired Behaviors Knowledge * Deep and broad understanding of analytics, marketing and sales automation, lead flow, event logistics, branding, social media and more. * Understand data privacy laws in Pan European markets, relative risk and actions to drive database compliance, growth and improvement. * BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or other relevant degree * Excellent English language skills and ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal form. Experience * At least 5 years in a field marketing or similar "marketing all-rounder role" in the European market(s), with experience delivering a broad mix of activities including PR, web, outbound email, webinars, live events and database development. * 2-3 years experience with lead generation in a direct sales model using marketing automation and CRM. * 1-3 years experience in extracting and analyzing marketing data from analytics tools like Google Analytics, Marketo, WordPress and the like. * Working on global teams across European time zones and boundaries. * Ability to lead by example, without micromanaging.
