Job Description
Humanscale, the leading designer and manufacturer of ergonomic products, is seeking an interim Marketing Manager to expand our presence in International markets. The role is for 6 months duration. We are looking for an experienced and highly self-motivated marketing manager to further promote and grow our brand throughout our key International markets. These markets are in Continental Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America & Oceania. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic marketer looking to work across multiple markets and channels to the customer. The role entails significant responsibility and ownership. While based in the London office, this role requires some global travel to interact with the regional and country business directors, partners and key customers. The role will be pivotal in providing strategic and tactical direction across the Marketing function for both online and offline marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude, a passion for great design, have a knowledge of premium brand culture and the ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, results driven environment. The candidate must also possess international business acumen and understand how to successfully develop a brand in emerging and more mature markets. - Work closely with the Senior Director, International Marketing, to create a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the product launches on a region by region basis. This includes identifying key opportunities and coming up with new initiatives to drive brand awareness and sales growth such as promotional events, thought leadership forums, and identifying new paths to market. - Work closely with Sales Leadership to generate strategy and tactics to identify and take advantage of market opportunities. - Develop localised sales and product marketing materials including, but not limited to: Advertising collateral, brochures, sales presentations, case studies and websites. - Work with the Corporate Marketing team to create online and offline marketing activities that stand out through innovation, thought leadership and attention to detail. - Manage the PR and social media agencies, ensuring the brand is consistent, yet locally relevant; positioning Humanscale as a thought leader in design and ergonomics by securing quality coverage in print and online. - Copywriting, proof reading and creation of newsletters, print and digital - Good business sense and budgeting skills - 7+ years of professional experience within marketing, PR or consulting company. Track record of - interim assignments a plus. - Clearly demonstrated experience in designing and executing integrated B2C and B2B marketing/communication campaigns (executed through multiple channels) - Highly collaborative, including in international and cross-cultural context - Strong project management skills and attention to detail - An effective and articulate communicator - Excellent spoken and written English essential. Additional language(s) capability a plus. - Premium brand experience and familiarity with Sustainability topics a plus - Fluency in web analytic tools and social media marketing applications and monitoring platforms a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver a plus - Starter/Finisher mind set - Must be able to travel 10-250% ID: 2020-3034 External Company Name: Humanscale Corporation External Company URL: www.humanscale.com Street: 13 Northburgh Street
