Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor - London We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Quantity Surveyor that is ready to make an impact in a Subcontractor's London based team on a permanent basis. Our client is a subcontractor that has worked on major Highways and Groundworks projects around the Greater and Central London area. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing multiple subcontract packages & ensuring that they are delivered on time and budget. In Brief... * Estimating and take off duties * Applications * Analysis of certification received off the clients * Approve subcontract payments were required * Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts * Processing of Early Warning Notifications * Processing of Compensation Events and Variations of works * Understanding contract programmes and identifying issues * Analysing Subcontract agreements received and review accordingly * Building BoQ's for various contracts and types * Meeting with clients * Producing subcontract agreements * Commercial reviews internal & external * Site measures * Producing of final accounts * Consolidation of additional information for clients where required * Review of contract drawings for clients and identifying possible issues with design * Looking at costs and producing accounts where required * Review of tender drawings and answer site queries * Log drawing changes and review accordingly * Checking of DRS sheets to identify possible additional works As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will... Hold a minimum of a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar/equivalent HND . You will also have a Highways and Civil Engineering background and a strong understanding of the NEC (A and B, E would be advantageous) and JCT contracts. We are after a Senior Quantity Surveyor that is a team player and is able to lead from the front. This permanent role based in London with a salary of £50,000 per annum .
