The University is seeing an increased demand for critical strategic HR Business Partner support where your consulting skills will look at system wide issues that are impacting the delivery of the university's aims both locally and strategically. At the same time, the senior management team regularly enlist HR expertise for complex change programmes which range from implementation of new business process to large scale strategic initiatives to enhance services to students. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide an integrated, consultative HR service to your assigned Faculty. You will be working in conjunction with members of the HR Leadership team and in partnership with the SMT to align the University's Strategic Plan through people, by contributing to faculty strategic planning activities in their areas. The role will therefore require a clear business and academic focus in order to be involved in vital strategic planning activity and provide expert advice to stakeholders at multiple levels. The HR Business Partner will play a vital role in the implementation of all University strategies and transformation change programmes in collaboration with the Organisational Effectiveness/Talent Management teams within HR, to enhance the culture and values to meet challenges within the sector. In addition to your strategic remit, you will deliver a solution focused HR service to customers primarily at the level of, Pro Vice-Chancellor/Deans and Directors and senior Faculty managers, with respect to supporting the more complex people matters and implementing talent management and engagement strategies. To be successful in your application, you will be a senior HR CIPD qualified Professional with substantial HR Business Partnering experience within a complex environment; excellent at building successful relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively with others to bring about transformational change. Strong organisational development skills are critical which include data led diagnosis and excellent facilitation skills, allowing you to work with team dynamics to improve leadership capability.
