Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, talented and creative sales professional to join the dynamic Cambridge Spark team. Based in London and Cambridge, you will be supporting our mission of helping professionals enter into, and develop within the technology industry. Our product portfolio includes a range of learning programs powered by the latest AI education technology. Reporting into the Head of Training Solutions, you will be leading and driving the growth of our innovative and industry-leading data analyst and data science apprenticeship programmes by finding and onboarding new clients. What you'll do: * Business Development / Lead Gen - find, reach out to and engage with new leads to ensure a healthy pipeline of future opportunities * Lead Nurturing / Relationship development - establish strong relationships to drive client acquisition * Needs Analysis / Consultative Sales - evaluate prospective clients needs and objectives and work with the delivery team to ensure they find the program which best matches their objectives and desired outcomes * Pitch to clients by creating and presenting impactful and engaging proposals * Create clear, concise, self-explanatory and well-designed presentations/decks * Negotiate and close deals * Work with and communicate effectively with the operations / delivery team to ensure they are clear on the requirements and specifications for each delivery * Effective capturing and analysis of customer information and interactions in our CRM and to drive insights and increased sales performance * Contribute to the B2B sales strategy and planning * Help with coaching and developing sales team best practice, implementing standardisation and driving improvements for increased team performance * Work with marketing to ensure impactful messaging and campaigns * Host and lead information sessions (in person or online) * Represent Cambridge Spark at conferences and events What you'll bring: * 4+ years in consultative and enterprise sales role or equivalent for digital apprenticeships * Target driven and results orientated with demonstrable experience in exceeding quotas * Outstanding communication skills on the phone, email, presentations and in-person * Experienced in time and project management * Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders * Exceptional closing skills while still remaining welcoming, understanding, and empathetic * A creative and solution-focused approach to challenges * Passionate about providing outstanding customer service * Confidence pitching to both individuals and groups * Flexible to support colleagues with a range of marketing, product and training tasks when needed * Experience using Hubspot or other CRM software * Previous experience or demonstrable interest in apprenticeships, education and/or tech industry What you'll get: * Competitive pay and generous compensation plan * 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. * 5% employer contribution to pension (total 10% contributions) * Monthly gym allowance * Flexibility to work from home * Creative and energetic workplace culture in stylish office environment * Annual team retreat in a sunny location outside of the UK for a company-wide paid offsite. * Uncapped growth opportunities: ambitious and talented colleagues rapidly acquire more responsibilities based on their performance and interests * Monthly company socials including everything from Cambridge College formals to pub nights * National and international travel, training and conference opportunities About us: Cambridge Spark is an award-winning EdTech spin-out from the Cambridge Computer Laboratory with a focus on personalised education in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
