Sellafield Limited has identified the need for project and programme management support to deliver 17 major construction projects across the Sellafield Decommissioning Programme PPP. This is a high profile, nationally significant, multi billion pound project, phase 1 of which will run for the next 20 years. KBR is the Integration Partner responsible for the provision of project management and related services to integrate the delivery of major projects. Reporting to the PPP Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Business Partner will be a key member of the team, developing and delivering excellent communication and engagement activities that help deliver PPP and achieve its ambition. **Main** **Responsibilities** Play a leading role in developing and delivering the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) communications and stakeholder management strategy and plans. Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues of all levels, partnering projects and PPP services functions, to ensure effective communication is at the heart of their work. Support the delivery of high-quality tactics and manage channels. This will include some core communication practices such as creating messaging and content, and events management. Use expertise, experience and industry best practice to help PPP understand its stakeholders, identify the right channels, styles and activities for specific audiences. Develop communications and stakeholder engagement plans for specific projects or campaigns and manage their effective implementation. Manage the relationships between PPP colleagues and advanced specialist communications skills such as design and print and photography and videography, including management of suppliers. Maintain excellent contacts and relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Deputise for the PPP Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager Hold colleagues to account on their communications responsibilities to drive the communications cycle - ensuring timely and regular activities underpin the rhythm of the business and contribute to creating trust, understanding and a positive reputation among all stakeholders. Through attendance at regular business meetings, contribute to developing and implementing an over-arching annual communications strategy and plan, including creating and coordinating delivery of the strategic narrative. Connect colleagues with the specialist skills they need by matching them support from parent companies or identifying and managing suppliers such as designers and photographers. Advise colleagues across the business - particularly senior managers - on employee, community media and political issues and appropriate responses. **Qualifications & Experience** An undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience A specialist qualification (CIPR, CIM, IoIC diploma) or equivalent relevant experience Hold, have held or eligible to apply for UK based security clearance Masters or post graduate qualification in a communications or engagement related subject, or equivalent experience (desirable) Demonstrable experience of managing communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement functions. Substantial experience of planning, managing, delivering and evaluating communications and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Clear commitment to continuous professional development to maintain and update communications skills (e.g. through CIPR, CIM, IoIC or similar membership) Significant experience working within a communications and engagement team (agency or in-house) Experience of operating alongside, and providing advice and support to, senior managers, developing and delivering internal communications plans and activities, developing engagement plans to reach members of the public and / or customers Skilled at managing external supplier contracts, including planning, liaising on briefs and progress and managing estimates and costs. Experience of developing, implementing and managing branding / corporate identity guidelines Experience of working with a range of external organisations, for example local authorities, government agencies, voluntary and independent sector etc. An understanding of local authorities, government bodies, trade bodies, and their structures and issues Experience of developing and using soci
