Sellafield Limited has identified the need for project and programme management support under a collaborative partnership model, to deliver major projects across the Sellafield Decommissioning Programme. This is a high profile, nationally significant, multi billion pound project, this phase of which will run for the next 20 years. KBR is the Integration Partner responsible for the provision of project management and related services to integrate and delivery major projects. THE ROLE Ideally the candidate should have worked with KBR either as an employee, JV partner or client representative, but this is not essential. **Primarily reporting to a Project Director and providing daily support and guidance on all project commercial matters. Accountable for the commercial project deliverables stream for a project within the PPP structure. Reporting functionally to the KBR PPP Commercial Lead who will require updates and support from all projects for KBR cooperate governance and reporting activities.** MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure contract compliance and consolidate and coordinate that information as advice to Project Director Management of the commercial project team and ensuring they perform to the required standards and expectations. Responsible for maintaining the standards, requirements and procedures for project commercial activities Accountability for all project internal and external commercial reporting Developing and agreeing T&Cs for Subcontractors. Delivery of internal and external commercial targets. Ensures the quality, timeliness and consistency of work produced by the team. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Extensive experience of the management of a project commercial team Extensive knowledge and experience of management of terms and conditions of contract e.g. NEC3, JCT and bespoke Extensive experience of development of business cases and subcontracts Experience in the nuclear industry or other regulated industry preferred Experience of managing project teams and working collaboratively Excellent communicator, leader and team builder Chartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 KBR is a global provider of differentiated professional services and technologies across the asset and program lifecycle within the Government Solutions and Energy sectors.
