Job Summary My Clients are a forward thinking, niche, multi law service practice based in Greater Manchester. My Clients are a friendly and down-to-earth practice that combine good quality work with a relaxed working environment. Responsibilities and Duties * The ideal candidate will be experienced in overseeing a team of fee earners handling caseloads of RTA files from newly accepted cases and progressing through each stage of the MOJ Portal. * You will encourage, mentor and develop all members of the team to including solicitors/fee earners, paralegals and admin assistants. * You will ensure the team meets its objectives and targets with a view to continuously improve the quality of the team's work. * You will assist the team in achieving their fees and objectives, tracking performance on a daily basis and exploring how fees can be maximized for the firm. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent levels of client service throughout the progression of the case and will keep the client regularly updated, in line with department service level agreements and will be responsible for the efficient transfer of the cases to senior colleagues if the cases exit the MOJ Portal. * Monitoring the caseload/workload of team members distributing files or tasks and dealing with capacity planning * Maximising the personal development of team members and identifying training needs ensuring that post training evaluation takes place * Providing an 'environment' where team members feel motivated * Promoting team working * Continuously improving the quality of work in the team, conducting audits as required by administrative policies and procedures, giving feedback to team members and drafting and implementing improvement plans * Monitoring weekly and monthly financial management information of the team and team members and managing performance of team members against Key Performance Indicators * Checking incoming and outgoing post as required by administrative policies and procedures * Preparing for and conducting Team Meetings, including disseminating information from Team Leader or Departmental Meetings. * Managing team members according to the firms policies and employment laws and ensuring that HR procedures are followed such as appraisals, discipline and grievances * Effectively deal with complaints through agreed handling processes. * To ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011 * To work in any other areas as requested by the firm if necessary, which may include other offices and those of clients * Supports manager's role throughout the day completing any requests or work when asked to do * To handle confidential and sensitive client information, ensuring Company compliance with GDPR * Work to strict timescales; taking on board any such change to the process; switching between a number of roles, prioritising work daily Benefits * Highly competitive salary - negotiable dependent on experience * 28 days annual leave * Flexible working hours * Time off in lieu * Opportunity to accrue 4 extra days of annual leave per year * Time off for birthday * Option to buy 5 additional days annual leave per year * Casual dress * Company social events Experience: * MOJ Portal Supervisory: 1 year (Required)
