Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Planning and Leadership * Key enabler to Technology Roadmap for corporate network, voice and collaboration including detailed technical plan. This will include building, maintaining and executing with team support. * Keep up to date on evolving technologies and trends to position Finastra Voice and Collaboration for our global future * Work with leadership to ensure aligned delivery of agreed solutions. * Support the Senior Manager and Head in the assessment of future cloud based network and voice technologies (as needed, special assignment) Documentation / Vendor * Assist in inventory of all critical systems, licensing and components in Cisco voice (SW / HW) in region and global (as needed / where appropriate) * Assist in inventory of Line Inventory with support of the IS finance team for EMEA / APAC / Americas region * Technical liaison of local vendor (HW / SW / Support / Service) service support agreements with support of IS Leadership Production * Ensure ongoing Operational Readiness including backups, monitoring, DR and general health with team and delivery partners * Daily oversight of system utilization, growth analysis and capacity planning and process recommendations for improving efficiency * Work with cross functional teams in delivery and ongoing maintenance as required. This is a collaboration effort from within corporate network and other local / global teams. * Oversee Installation, support and maintenance of production voice networks and systems * Integrate network services including but not limited to switching, routing, wireless networks and network security * General understanding of server, AD and security design and topology * Document process to support delivery partner in performing moves, adds & changes * Level 3 and 4 senior oncall (as needed - rotational) Experience : * Cisco IP Telephony suite operation, multi-national vendor management, multi-national telco management (Data and Voice) * Multi-national Network Management, Cloud IP Voice and Managed WAN provider * Experience working with a run / support partner in a global project and technical delivery * This is a hands on role, 50% plan, 50% delivery (as needed) * Experience in the implementation of multi-national, multi-site cloud voice and managed WAN solutions * Understanding of internal and external connectivity models (ISDN/SIP Trunking) * Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting call routing, network performance and VoIP quality issues * Demonstrable expertise on the Cisco IP / UC and PABX voice technologies * Knowledge of legacy PABX systems, and managing these platforms through delivery partners, general legacy telecom technologies * Ability to travel to global (Finastra) locations for project and planning work (as required) Soft skills required: * Excellent English written and oral communication skills * Strong technical documentation capability * Organized, methodical and high attention to detail * Takes full ownership and be accountable of solution deliver and services * Takes ownership of learning and career progression * Cultural knowledge of key Europe Middle East / Asia Pacific / America's countries to affect change in regional operations Desirable, but not essential ... * Experience deploying Microsoft Collaboration offerings such as Office 365 * Experience deploying cloud based video coloration solutions such as MS Skype / Teams and Zoom * Avaya to Cloud migration * Cisco call center solutions including Social Media / Channel support * CCIE level certifications for voice and routing / switching / wan Qualifications: CCNP Routing and Security, Collaboration or Voice certifications, ITIL (latest version) ***** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
