Job Description
Scope Personnel are happy to be recruiting on behalf of our busy client for a HGV Technician to maintain their fleet of vehicles. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, reliable and hard working with both skill and experience working on HGVs and will be expected to work to a consistently high quality in everything they do. This position will be working a standard day shift Monday - Friday - with flexibility on hours (06:00 - 15:00 or 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00) to be discussed and agreed on start Duties include: * Inspection and repair of vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test; * Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment; * General mechanical and electrical repairs; * Offsite working, including breakdown attendance * A focus on customer service and a dedication to keeping our customer's vehicles on the road and minimising downtime This position is paying an hourly rate of £14.25ph and will require you to have a Class 1 HGV Licence as you will be required to take vehicles for MOT.
