Overview
Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their teams in Skelmersdale and Warrington. Hours of work: Days and Nights over 7 days. Busiest Shift pattern Thursday to Monday. Salary: £12.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on shift. The Role: Store Delivery. Delivery of Fresh and Grocery products to stores. This will be a hands on role and manual handling. Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE licence. No more than 6 minor penalty points. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations. Driver qualification (CPC) card. Digital tacho card.
