Job Description
Operations Technician Eden Scott's client is recognised as one of the leaders in the renewable energy market as a significant contributor to the production of biomass energy for the home market. Assisting the Production Team Leader in the safe and efficient running of the plant, you will undertake technical and operational duties, which include plant monitoring and maintenance to ensure maximum plant availability and performance. Key responsibilities · To execute operational and 'frontline' maintenance activities in accordance with the approved processes and procedures; · To investigate plant problems and identify solutions; · To prepare technical reports and maintain appropriate records within recognised systems; · To complete accurate and concise shift handovers; · To ensure safe working practices and procedures are adhered to; · To support the Production Team Leader in preparation of safety documents.; The successful candidate will be joining our operations team, which works a shift system covering 24 hours operation, 7 days a week. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the power utility sector and have mechanical or electrical skills, including fault finding techniques.
