The role of Product Development & Integrity Manager plays a vital role in making this M&P value a reality. About the role: Not only is your role to bring new designs and ideas to life across prams, strollers, nursery furniture and so on, but through your team of product and testing engineers make sure that quality, safety and innovation is of the very highest. From our Head Office, situated between Manchester and Leeds, you will liaise cross functionally across the business, bringing product plans together, leading product development, product engineering, product testing with regular travel to our Far East and Global manufacturing partners to conduct manufacturing audits, production line audits, innovation and capabilities analysis, plus in managing the critical paths. This is a really hands on engineering role, so we would expected this person to have an advanced understanding of NPD, NPI, manufacturing and product testing. You don't need to come from the nursery sector, but someone who is knowledgeable of injection moulding, metal pressing and extrusion and best practice for tool design. Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and ideally FEA, using drawing standards to BS EN 8888. Is also forward thinking, not afraid to try new things, and most importantly, can put the customer first.
