Production Shift Manager

We have a brilliant exclusive opportunity for a Production Shift Manager with a continually growing West Yorkshire based manufacturing business. Supplying a range of well-known businesses with their products, our client is looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager who can match their drive and ambition. Reporting to the Factory Director, you will be running a team and have full responsibility for your shift. As a Production Shift Manager, you will be responsible for: -Working closely with existing Shift Managers to ensure the business is being fully optimised -Managing day-to-day issues and continuous improvement work -Taking full responsibility for output, health & safety, production efficiency, customer service, product quality and raw material usage -People management; day-to-day resource planning, attendance and the training of existing and new recruits -Helping to drive cultural change across the shop floor As a Production Shift Manager, you will have: -Hands-on management experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment -Formal qualifications or proven management experience -An engineering background/experience -The ability to manage a team This is a rotational day shift pattern and you will be required to work 1 week in 4.
