The primary focus of this role will be to onboard, service and retain EMEA clients as well as providing secondary team support to ASIA & US based clients. The day to day entails account query investigation and resolution in a timely manner and working on various client/internal projects and regulatory requirements. **Role / Position Overview** The Belfast Client services team manage both Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) & Over-The-Counter (OTC) Clearing services for both internal and external clients trading Futures & Options and OTC Clearing globally. Citi is restructuring its operations team and is looking for a dynamic individual to help Citi become a market leader in the provision of ETD trading and ETD & OTC clearing services. The responsibilities of the function can be broken down into 4 components + Servicing ETD & OTC Clearing EMEA Clients + Support Business and internal groups + Business Development & Control + Business Administration **Key Responsibilities:** + Look after top tier Clients (Platinum, Gold & Silver) and ensure that the best service is delivered to 'Be the Best for our clients'. + Coordinate and communicate with internal & external stakeholders. + Ensure procedures and policies are followed-up and regularly reviewed. + Work with the Operational Control team to ensure the right controls are in place or gaps are identified and documented until remediated. + Know the EMEA client base and how they operate. + Develop and maintain client relationships + Responsible for the day to day and escalating any issues to the Management & Business + Enhance STP and be pro-active to improve the flow (internal and external for clients) + Fully aware of the market risks and make sure they are well under control + Keep up to date with the Futures and OTC CCP and regulatory changes that impact the business area. + Support queries from other areas: control, finance, risk, credit, Compliance + Cross training with Clients and internal groups + Client Visits **Development Value:** Citi success depends on its people and their ability to develop and grow within the organisation. Citi also invested a lot of efforts in building a global model and opportunities may arise in other locations like Asia Pacific. + Receive a six-month long training program in all aspects of their role and will have a mentor for the duration of their transition period + Develop a detailed understanding of the business at Citi, its products and processes and how it operates within a large organisation. + Build a strong relationship with your clients & the Business + Raise your profile with the desk, Management and various team globally + Build effective prioritisation skills as the job entails dealing with multiple conflicting priorities in a time pressure environment. **Knowledge/Experience:** + Knowledge of Futures & OTC Derivatives is necessary. + Understanding of the Listed Derivatives model and its exchange related requirements + Strong operational background with emphasis on risk management and process improvement + Ability to balance project deliverables with daily processes + Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills + Organisation skill and working within strict deadlines + Experience in physical deliveries (energy, metal & agriculture) **Skills:** + Extremely focus and dedicated to deliver a first class service to their clients + Excellent communications skills (written / verbal) at all organisational levels. + Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail. + Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate when necessary + Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously. + Ability to use
