Citi enables clients to achieve their strategic financial objectives by providing them with cutting-edge ideas, best-in-class products and solutions, and unparalleled access to capital and liquidity. **Team/Function Overview** A new Regulatory Client Reporting team is being set up to service Citi's clients globally with their Regulatory Reporting related queries. The team will sit within the Middle Office of Citi's Investment Bank and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders globally. **Role / Position Overview** The Regulatory Client Reporting Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day management of two junior members of staff, as well as day-to-day activities such as facilitating client queries. The team lead will help establish the parameters of the new team and be pivotal in the creation of the controls and procedures that the team will create and follow to ensure Citi are providing an excellent service to their clients. **Key Responsibilities:** Direct point of contact for clients with accountability to ensure all client queries around delegated reporting are addressed efficiently and effectively and we are providing a superior client service. Partner with key internal stakeholders across the firm, including: The Regulatory Middle Office Team, Operational Regulatory Control, Client On-Boarding team and Asset Class Technology teams to address client queries around Global Regulatory Regimes, such as: EMIR, MIFID II, ASIC and SFTR. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that queries are addressed in a timely manner and the client is kept appraised of progress. Acting as the escalation point within the team and overseeing performance of other team members to ensure a quality service is being delivered to clients Management and tracking of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation processes and timelines are followed, to drive and deliver improvements where issues are identified. Work collaboratively and coordinate personnel across time zones to provide the best service to clients. Partner with implementation teams to develop and continually improve our metrics and controls and general upkeep of documentation (Procedure Documents, FAQ and Quick Reference Guides) **Development Value:** The role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to be part of a client facing team, interacting globally with Citi's internal and external clients. With this being a brand new team with a blank slate, there is scope for the individual to help shape the team and how it operates. Furthermore, the team will work across all asset classes on a variety of reporting regulations, offering an excellent chance for the individual to build out a highly desirable skill set which is recognized across Investment banking. Finally, with the team lead being responsible for two junior members of staff, the role will allow the individual to develop their management skill set. **Criteria/Qualifications** Product Knowledge: Regulatory and/or Derivative product knowledge preferred from at least one asset class Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships both internally and externally to collaborate effectively. Ability to lead and influence individuals who do not directly work for you. Communication: Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and ability to liaise with external clients and multi-function global departments Organisation: Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a dynamic environment is key. Analytical: Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
