Job Description

Eden Scott's client requires a Shift Operator/Technician for their renewable energy plant in Girvan. This is a permanent position Ideally you will have a commitment & desire to work in the Renewable Energies Sector and some knowledge of Anaerobic Digestion (AD technology), due to the requirement to work shifts you will be locally based or within easy commute of our client's site at Girvan. Key Tasks: Ensuring processes are operating at maximum in-puts, out-puts and efficiencies. Ensuring operational plant is maintained to the highest level of safety and environmental standards. Ensuring processes are operated as per operational standards and specified control parameters/tolerances. During shift that the planned inspection / testing and maintenance regimes are carried out on time. Ensuring the completion of all operational logs and all required compliance and financial data whilst on shift. Please note: the nature of the role requires a commitment to work shift patterns that include night shifts. Shifts are 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am to provide continuous 24-hour cover. Qualifications & Experience: Education : Qualified to at least NC level or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline ; ideally holding/HND/HNC/Degree or equivalent in Engineering Practice/Mechanical /Chemical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. Experience/Training: Ideally with experience/competence & training in some or all of the following areas: Telehandler/Forklift; IOSH Managing safely; IPAF 3A/3B; ECITB Safety Passport; Hydraulic Torque and Tension (Hi-Force. ECITB); Waste
