In return, we'll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking aCleaning Supervisorfor ourSafety Assessment sitelocated inTranent. Duties involve coordinating the cleaning service for office, laboratory and general areas within the Company including cleaning of surfaces, floors, toilets, meeting rooms and corridors as required. You will also coordinate the preparation of glassware within the laboratory sciences areas. This role will also involve being directly involved in the cleaning and glass washing activities to some extent, but mostly the management of the cleaning operation over three separate sites across East Lothian. Team supervisory aspects would include: + Daily resource allocation and priority reallocation as required + Organise training and development for cleaning staff + Managing the stock and order of cleaning materials and equipment and their distribution to the team + Maintaining regulatory compliance sign off for cleaning logs + Maintaining cleaning standards through regular audits and providing feedback + Participation in the recruitment process + Carry out annual performance related appraisal reviews and one to one discussions The following are minimum requirements related to theCleaning Supervisorposition. + Previous cleaning and supervisory experience + Management experience directing the activities of a large team spread over multiple sites would be a distinct advantage + A current UK driving licence Closing date for this position is 25 June 2020 Salary for this position is 20,000 - 25,000 dependent on previous experience.
