Job Description
If there's one characteristic that drives Auto Trader developers, it's curiosity. We are looking for an iOS Developer to join our growing team of app developers. The team work as part of the buying experience tribe, made up of developers, testers, product leads and data analysts, all of whom focus on the core customer journey across our mobile and desktop platforms. The team is made up of iOS and Android developers, and with over 2 million unique apps visitors every month they continually strive to improve core Auto Trader services with native capabilities. We're looking for an iOS Developer with solid Swift & Objective-C experience. You'll have created and supported iOS apps through your knowledge of object-oriented and asynchronous programming techniques. Understanding of the common mobile application design patterns and XCTest and unit testing will be a welcome addition to the squad. In addition to the above, we're looking for someone with a healthy amount of knowledge on consuming RESTful services (XML/JSON) in iOS apps. We love working in an Agile environment so it's important that you're flexible in your approach to collaborative software delivery. We'd also like to hear about your knowledge of limitations, quirks and best practices with mobile devices, bug management and source control systems. Ideally, you'll be familiar with UI automation testing for iOS apps and knowledge of other client technologies. We offer a salary between 30,000 - 50,000 and a great flexible benefits package including 25 days' holiday, pension and healthcare. We believe in providing more than just salary and benefits.
