GUY'S AND ST THOMAS' HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST Gastrointestinal Medicine and Surgery Senior Clinical Fellow in Upper GI Nodal Point 4 - 49,036 p.a excl. LZ Fixed Term - 12 Months Full Time - 40 hours Applications are invited for a Senior Upper GI Clinical Fellow based at St Thomas' Hospital. This is a Royal College of Surgeons accredited Oesophago-gastric cancer fellowship designed for a senior trainee prior to Consultant applications. The post will commence from April 2021 and will be a 12 month contract. A suitable candidate would be: 1. Peri-CCT with an UGI resection interest 2. JAG endoscopy accredited 3. Capable of supporting certain clinic and theatre activities independently, but with consultant availability. St Thomas' has seven upper GI surgeons Ms Baker, Mr Davies, Mr Gossage, Mr Kelly, Mr Atkinson, Mr Botha and Mr Hubbard. The Upper GI team provides regional cancer care for South East London and Kent and is a high volume resectional unit. It also provides surgery for all aspects of benign Oesophago-Gastric conditions, emergency Upper GI presentations and complex oesophageal reconstruction.
