In North America, Amazon is now reinventing on behalf of the business customer and focused on building Amazon Business, the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world, and we are recruiting a handful of the best of the best to make this vision a reality in our European markets. B2B represents an incredible opportunity to address a vast new market segment and customer base and is an area of high investment for Amazon. We are focused on building solutions to enable B2B customers to discover, research, and buy products and services from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. In North America our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between) that buy in either high frequency or in bulk quantities. Our B2B customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer and thus we have to reinvent everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience. Key Responsibilities Own creation and maintenance of sales territories and quotas, and reporting of performance against those quotas Partner with account management teams and the product management team to test, iterate, and refine the best implementation of the global best practices of Amazon Business Operations Drive adoption and training as needed for account management, marketing, and site merchandising teams Seek out ways to utilize automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to improve to global technical and operations teams Maintain and refine scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking for account management, marketing, and site merchandising efforts Operational support at resolving common problems and trouble tickets Take an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of infrastructure and process of acquiring and on-boarding Amazon Business customers Present results in weekly and monthly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives Work closely with the global B2B marketing teams and the product management team to establish and develop the long-term roadmap to grow Amazon Business UK.
