Wired Middle East is seeking an Editor in Chief. The Editor in Chief is responsible for the strategy, management, and development of news, feature, review, and all other content on Wired.me along with Wired in print, with a specific focus on content relevant to the region. The Editor in Chief is also a public-facing role and a brand representative at Wired's flagship events. The Editor in Chief is expected to make arrangements to ensure that content is fresh and relevant every day of the week. Among other things, this will include creating an editorial calendar that highlights the major events and themes for coverage, under the guidance of the senior management team, and guiding a team of writers and translators to produce and post content. The right candidate is strategic, organized, tenacious, calm under pressure, and able to juggle numerous tasks, as you will be involved in all areas of Wired Middle East's editorial operation. The ability to effectively plan and execute a detailed editorial approach is critical. You should be fazed by little and able to solve all problems, great or small, calmly and efficiently.
