Overview

Your new company Fast growing privately owned commerce business with offices in Colchester, Essex are looking to recruit a qualified accountant and experienced Finance Manager for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Director the Finance Manager will manage a small and highly efficient team and take responsibility for the day to day management and development of the finance team including: People management and development The production of the monthly management accounts Statutory reporting for legal entities Inter-company accounting Balance sheet reconciliations and management Cashflow reporting VAT returns Fixed asset maintenance Profit and loss Liaison with bank, auditors and other external organisations Assist in the production of the board pack Assist with the management of the annual audit and year end reporting FRS102 Assist in the continuous review and development of processes and control What you'll need to succeed The Finance Manager will be a qualified Accountant with strong financial and management accounting experience and people management skills. They will have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels. Strong organisational skills able to meet and prioritise deadlines. The Finance Manager will have good attention to details and broad IT skills including Excel to an advanced level. What you'll get in return The Finance Manager will be offered a salary in the region of £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on qualification and experience) plus an attractive benefits package.
