Description SENIOR ENERGY CONSULTANT - SERVICES - LONDON Allegro is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant with expertise in energy commodity markets to join the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Professional Services Group. Senior Functional Consultants on the functional side, serves as key team members on software implementation projects and are responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to address our client's needs, whilst gathering information from the client to help design business specifications. It's important for Consultants to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as this is a customer-facing position. Consultants must be willing to travel from Monday-Thursday to the client site, across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities: * Work as a Consulting team member on for-fee product implementation, integration or software upgrade projects. * Serve as an industry expert in the field of Energy as it relates to business software functionality. Expertise and work efforts will focus primarily on the implementation of Allegro's proprietary software products. * Conduct requirements workshops and analysis to capture customer needs. * Model complex business scenarios in the system and present result to clients. * Configure and assist in the integration of API's in Allegro. * Identify and design interfaces built between Allegro and existing business systems, leading team as the functional business owner of the component. * Review technical designs/solutions for customer extensions and customisation. * Participate in the extension, design, and validation of test cases. * Perform issue resolution, analysis and troubleshooting. * Assist with the setup of databases, application servers and desktops in customer's pre-production and deployment environments. * Liaison between third-party vendor's and the client, acting as the first point of contact on behalf of the client. * Gather and understand company restructuring requirements for customers going through mergers and acquisitions, and its effect on project design and activities. * Educate junior members of the team in best practices and taking on responsibility for mentoring others. * Provide informative and tailored customer training on the application. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Previous experience implementing, or working with, the Allegro proprietary software is desired. * Significant functional knowledge of CTRM or ETRM software. * Preferred expertise in energycommodity markets and/or an understanding of the integration of software systems for customers undergoing mergers and acquisitions. * Working knowledge of Front/Middle/Back Office and related business processes. * Strong understanding of energy trading (including derivatives), as well as the differences between European energy markets. *
