Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The role is based in London with flexibility to travel for meetings and events. Fluency in German and English is a must with any other European language being a big plus Busuu has been successfully providing language learning solutions to consumers worldwide. We are growing our corporate client base for Busuu for Business which allows companies to offer our award-winning language courses to their employees and to track their progress on an interactive dashboard. Busuu has a strong offering for retail and hospitality sectors with companies such as Inditex, adidas and Palladium Hotel Group among our clients. Responsibilities * Grow corporate sales in Europe for Busuu to achieve business targets * Build and manage a healthy pipeline and healthy relationships with prospects in target verticals * Actively spot sales opportunities and act on quick wins * Negotiate with key stakeholders to create win-win solutions for prospects and Busuu * Identify emerging trends in the local corporate language market and build good awareness of the competitive environment * Build strong insights on the needs of target customers and work with product team to adapt Busuu value offering * Represent the firm in local trade fairs, conferences and events * Achieve and exceed agreed sales and OKR targets * Identifying new prospects through own lead generation and by working closely with SDR and marketing teams to generate a strong funnel of qualified leads * Presenting the product offering, establishing need to buy and closing deals * Managing own pipeline and using CRM to log all activities Skills / experience * Extensive experience in BDM role, selling SaaS or platform software to Enterprise * Fluent conversational & written English and German a must-have * A third language advantageous * Successful and demonstratable track record bringing in new business, ideally selling per seat/license * Proven new business hunter and over achiever * Experienced pitching over the phone and face to face * Highly motivated self-starter, proactive, focused and resilient. * Ideally worked within the e-learning/languages space previously Benefits... * Competitive salary * Bonus Scheme. * Private healthcare. * Gym membership. * Free breakfast and snacks. * Free dinner if you need to stay late. * Regular company trips (last one was inprivate island in Croatia) and evenings out in London. * Friday socialising - we make sure we stop working and spend time together at the end of the week.
