Job Description
Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows. The cross-client TPM team is responsible for running large initiatives across Prime Video to improve existing or build brand new experiences to help Amazon customers discover great content and get personalised recommendations on our apps on a verity of surfaces (e.g. Web, iOS/Android, FireTV, Living Room devices). In this role, you (as a Senior TPM leader) will partner with Product/UX/Architects to deliver a program of work across a large number of teams, end to end. For each program that you will own, you will work with Product and UX counterparts to define the product vision and roadmap in a data-driven and working backward (from customer) approach. Where applicable, you will also work with Principal Engineers (architects) to draw technical design/approach documents. And finally, you will work with engineering teams across the globe to own the actual product execution cycle (develop, test, and launch). Along the way, you (as the program leader) will be responsible for defining how the product roadmap is delivered (delivering value in incremental phases, or in one go), bring teams across organizations together, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and when necessary make trade-offs by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints. To fulfil this role, you will need to possess strong program management skills and be comfortable to operate at scale, and will have experience in leading large cross-functional and cross-organizational programs. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, and ability to remain calm are essential to succeed in this role. You will be joining a select group of people making history by building products that will be used by millions of customers across the globe.
