As a Staff Nurse (RGN) you will be an integral part of the healthcare team and will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards. You'll carry out - and potentially develop - nurse led clinics, reviewing patient's histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to. You will also be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and mental health teams. Are you new to prison healthcare? Do not worry... you will be supported and mentored throughout your first 6 months with Care UK by experienced teams of highly skilled nurses and practitioners as well as management. About HMP YOI New Hall HMP YOI New Hall is a closed female local prison which holds, adult female prisoners of all categories and Young Offenders and Juveniles on Detention and Training Orders. Situated in Flockton, the prison is approximately (by car - routes will vary times): 40 minutes from Halifax 40 minutes from Sheffield 35 Minutes from Bradford 30 minutes from Leeds 30 Minutes from Rotherham 25 Minutes from Huddersfield 20 Minutes from Wakefield More information We welcome applications on a full-time and part-time basis. Full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this role is up to 33,000 FTE per annum - dependent on experience.
