Job Description
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team in Amazon Logistics to launch a new and innovative business in the B2C shipping space. We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Solution Architect for the Amazon Logistics UK team. The ideal candidate will be excited by partnering in launching a new start-up and possess a unique balance of technical depth, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. To be able to serve our customers, Amazon Logistics will require an ecosystem of integrations with a variety of e-commerce seller solutions; including order and shipping-related software. We are looking for a Solution Architect that will support our largest accounts and 3P partners by: providing consultation during the initiation and development of the technical integration, liaise with external partners and internal teams, and trouble shoot where necessary during roll-out. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value and help customers solve problems is critical to a Solution Architect. You will represent Amazon in face-to-face meetings and own the overall technical relationship between Amazon Logistics and the customer. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop deep and broad relationships with executives and technical stakeholders at partner organizations Lead tech and integration discussions with large customers, support the onboarding process and troubleshoot where needed Lead tech integrations with key partners by collaborating with other tech and product teams Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Technical teams Share learnings and adopt best practices across geographies Analyze current processes and our customers' pain-points and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate program growth Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and communicate risks to leadership team Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are stable, scalable and efficient. This role will be based in London and with moderate travel (maximum 25%).
