Job Description

Amazon is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong delivery record to own and manage the sales and operations planning program. This role will require working with business customers to deliver unit-based sales and operations plans while managing to physical capacity constraints. In addition, the role requires a leader who can develop new products/programs, across multiple business units, to improve existing capacity and planning solutions. Responsibilities include: Ownership of a high-visibility sales and operations plan for internal customers. Ensure on-time delivery of the plan, providing customers with a short and long-term view on expected volumes and capacity, which are critical inputs for these teams to run their operation, transportation and labour planning. Form cross-functional project teams to execute complex projects across multiple organisations and stakeholders. Create and drive initiatives to improve sales and operational planning accuracy and capacity utilisation. Partner with key teams across the company to lead, support, and influence new planning initiatives A successful candidate will also demonstrate: High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Ability to think strategically and execute methodically Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
