Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in the Medical Specialities Division within the Clinical Administration Unit for an Audio Typist at Maidstone Hospital, 19 hours per week. You will be part of a dedicated team, committed to delivering a high standard of service to our patients. Key tasks include audio typing of clinics and results, distributing post and general clerical support for the team; including consultants and medical secretaries. You will be organised and flexible with excellent literacy, keyboard and audio typing skills along with a willingness to learn new medical terminology and processes. NHS or medical experience is not essential as training will be provided, however administration and audio typing experience is essential.
