Job Description
We, UK and Ireland (UKIR) Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement are seeking a talented Business Operation Analyst, to help our fast growing UKIR business, partnering with AWS Sales organizations and Leaderships. The position will act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop sales strategies, and scale the business. His/her proactive insights will drive our sales growth in incubation and development of our customers, to assist Sales organizations in defining, landing and executing our key strategies and to lead key planning programs, including segmentation, business goals, and measurement of goals attainment. The successful candidate is responsible for proving business analysis and insight, managing business cadence, continuous process improvement, creating efficiencies, accelerating sales performance, reporting and delivering results. He/she also manages the regular business operations, of sales revenue, sales compensation, improvements of the reporting tools, methodologies, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers. The ideal candidate earns trust through his/her performance and relationship building, has strong analytical and data handling skill, with appropriate frameworks, applied knowledge of financial, accounting and statistical models, professional consulting ability, experience in program management, and strong communication skill to assist the team leaders and sales teams in meeting its objectives and active collaboration with the extended AWS Sales organization, such as Business Development, Marketing, Partner team, Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Salesforce Team and Compensation Team, as well as across geographies. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the team leaders in defining and landing UK and Ireland strategic programs and initiatives in market segments Lead key planning programs including territory planning, quota planning, headcount planning, markets analysis, and goals planning initiatives. Manage the monthly cadenced business reporting and operations Manage sales compensation scheme and revenue recognition process, works collaboratively with global business operations and EMEA centric teams Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of business management systems/processes Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate on projects Design and develop highly available dashboards, reports and metrics using SFDC, Tableau, MS Excel etc. Manage data quality, tackle data conflicts, sales efficiency and sales automation with centric reports, dashboards in CRM tool, OBIEE etc.), executing on our data management policy and identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution
