Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Home Manager or experienced Senior to manage a team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff in a Residential Children's Home rated GOOD by Ofsted. This role requires a high level of patience and understanding working with Children and Young people with emotional and challenging behaviours aged 11- 18. My client is looking for a dedicated organised Deputy Home Manager who can lead a shift and take the initiative to work well independently as well as working well with other members of staff and young people. Deputy Home Manager Duties and Responsibilities: * Ability to lead staff teams to provide a high level of care * Provide a safe environment for the young people in your care * Ensure your record keeping and administrative duties are up to date and organized for the managers review * Ability to manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager * Experience leading or managing staff in a residential childcare setting * Up to date knowledge of the current legislation governing the sector * Experience of Ofsted Inspections * Attend professional meetings and work contributively with the professional network Requirements * Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent * Level 5 Leadership and Management (desirable) * Experience working in a residential childcare setting * Proven success of development of staff teams and individuals * Senior experience * Experience of Ofsted inspections Benefits Salary: 13.00 - 14.00 per hour Closing date: Wednesday 13th November 2019 Contact: Amandeep at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
