Job Description
GOSPORT - Our client is looking for a Clinical Director, to start June as follows; * This CD role is a hands-on clinical lead within this first opinion 100% small animal practice * The CD will support and lead the practice team of 2 competent and friendly RVN's / 2 x receptionists * 20-minute consultation slots to enable adequate time to explore proactive clinical opportunities, client relationship building, financial estimating and discussions as well as the avoidance of unnecessary stress due to time pressure across the entire practice team * The CD will set and maintain practice standards * The CD will ensure continuation and development of the excellent client and patient care. * The CD will demonstrate and lead a proactive clinical approach to diagnoses and therapeutics * The CD will possess the surgical skills required to cope with clinical presentations typical to first opinion practice Facilities * In-house Idexx Catalyst and Procyte Analysers, Examion Digital Radiography with Bucky Table * Separate surgical theatre, dog and cat wards, isolation, imagery suite * The Out of hours calls are covered by the local VetsNow practice Applicant requirements * Whilst the aim is to build a team, the Clinical Director will be capable of sole charge cover * This implies at least 2+ years post graduate experience * RCVS registered and compliant Package & Perks * Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 of 5 days * Annual performance bonus * Life insurance, Critical illness cover, In Work Personal Accident insurance and Private medical insurance for you and your family * Pension Scheme * 20% Staff discount in store and at veterinary clinic * Generous CPD allowance and 1-week study leave * 29 days holiday (pro-rata) inclusive of all Bank holidays * RCVS, BVA, VDS memberships included * This role has been 'vetted' and is endorsed by Brian Faulkner MRCVS, (Past President SPVS, and Honorary Associate Professor of Nottingham University, Director of Colourful CPD).
