Amazon is looking for a driven Regulated Selection Category Merchant Manager (CMM) responsible for category expansion for third party Selling Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new selection expansion team, working directly with business and technology teams to launch complex new product categories, including prescription eyewear, veterinary medicines and pharmacy products. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a proven track record of delivery in both account and project management. Candidates will be required to drive complex workstreams to deliver a bar raising customer and seller experience from launch, diving deep to remove roadblocks and regularly influence stakeholders. He/she will be responsible for building new partnerships with strategic sellers, defining new processes and success metrics for these unique product categories. This role is focused on UK for launch, but will have EU SME responsibility for rollout to new marketplaces. The CMM will coordinate a group of EU 3P stakeholders to drive the program, working closely with in-country teams to drive the category expansion roadmap and sharing best practice for successful new launches. He/She will be responsible for communicating local learnings to the central product and technology teams, making recommendations for program improvements and influencing future roadmaps. Roles and Responsibilities Successfully plan, execute and monitor new category launches for 3P Sellers in UK. Build a lead pipeline of strategic selling partners for new each category launch, meet or exceed a set of output and input goals. EU SME responsible for coordinating with in-country 3P teams to deliver successful rollout program for EU5. Work directly with technology teams to create a brand new experience for Selling Partners. Drive adoption of specific marketplace programs for new Selling Partners at launch to ensure we raise the bar on selection, pricing and convenience for newly launching new categories. Help define new seller success criteria, including new performance measurements for this unique program and sellers. Create a scalable Selling Partner onboarding and post-launch support plan for this new program and set of Selling Partners. Understand Amazon Services products and be able to articulate their functions and benefits to external audiences. Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of all channels to understand what is and is not working. Use learnings to make recommendations to central program team or local teams in order to drive improvements.
