Job Description Job Purpose LeoVegas UK has over 140 employees that have a vast range of IT needs, users vary between Windows, Mac OS, Android & iOS. As the sole IT support, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our hardware and networking needs on the day to day and to help us with our longer term business growth. You will be someone that is ready to take on the challenge of being in a stand-alone role and be excited to have the opportunity to grow and develop as our business grows. Providing excellent customer service is essential; as is an analytical mind, a methodical approach and a willingness to 'go the extra mile.' Role Responsibilities * End user desktop support, both hardware and software * Application deployment and updates * Computer deployment and maintenance * Printer support * Network (including WiFi) support and monitoring * Antivirus and other compliance tools support * GSuite administration * Managing ticket queues Qualifications Skills and attributes * A minimum of 1-2 years experience working within a similar role. * Self-Starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner. * Up-to-date technical knowledge with regular self-development. * Clear understanding of what it means to give excellent customer service * Ability to work proactively, under pressure and independently with minimal direction. * Experience with supporting iPads, Macs and Windows laptops with a wide range of software applications * Essential - Knowledge or Understanding of: * WIFI and LAN network experience * Antivirus * Audio Visual / meeting room * Desirable - Knowledge or Understanding of: * Avast AV * Interest in config management, such as ansible * VPN administration * Jira * Zendesk * GSuite administrations * Zoom rooms * Interest in GCP cloud infrastructure Additional Information We are in a fortunate position to be continuing business as usual during the ongoing situation regarding the Covid-19 outbreak. We will be conducting all our interviews over Zoom during this time and should we find the perfect candidate for the role we will be offering the position having completed the whole process virtually. This means, it's likely when the successful candidate starts the position, they will be working from home after we have (contactlessly) delivered their equipment. This role will be office based once things return to normal, at our offices in Great Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE13).
