Company Description Home Instead Senior Care-Brighton, Hove and Shoreham is an independently run local business, offering non-medical person centred home care to independent seniors that are in need of companionship, home help and personal care in the comfort of their home, within their own community and surrounded by their memories. Job Description If you enjoy working with people and want to pursue an opportunity to make a difference in their lives, caregiving might be the career for you. With minimum visits of 1 hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation, we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We carefully match our Caregivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust, a reliable relationship and enable us to provide the very best personalised support. Our clients trust us. They will rely on you to listen carefully to what they need, take an interest in them and deliver excellent care. The most important part of a Caregiving role with us is offering companionship and conversation. You will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent safely in their own home. Day to day work may include accompanying clients to appointments and social events, light housekeeping, planning and preparing meals, and helping with daily living routines such as personal care and moral support. You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Caregiver with Home Instead as we have extensive training and on-going development opportunities that will enable you to deliver our special brand of relationship-led care. However, it would be advantageous to have some experience interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will be reliable, trustworthy, respectful and intuitive to deliver what each client needs. We are an Age+ employer at heart and welcome interest from all parts of our community.
