Job Description

Mid Essex Hospital Trust is recruiting enthusiastic, passionate and self-motivated Registered Nurses looking to enhance their careers in the Day Therapies Unit. We are the team that provides an ideal learning setting for all Registered nurses and provide a base on which to develop their skills. This environment is equally suited to a return to practice nurse or a third year Student nurse hoping to join a team that will support and develop them throughout their early years of nursing. We are renowned for our outstanding teaching and mentorship standards for all new staff, to enable them to reach their full potential. The department deals with primarily rheumatology, neurology, oncology and haematology patients who require different intravenous medications for a wide range of disorders. The role will require the following: * Administer a range of intravenous infusions as prescribed. * Administer blood product transfusions. * Carry out venesections (once trained). * Perform PICC line dressings (once trained). Our Multi-disciplinary Team work with us side by side to enable us to deliver excellent quality care and documentation of the highest standards. This department offers an excellent work/life balance with working hours 08:30-16:30 Monday to Friday. Those seeking part-time positions will also be considered.
