About the Role! Job Purpose To lead and manage the group IFRS accounting compliance activities with key inputs to the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles. Providing maternity cover for the current Group financial Reporting manager who leaves at the end of July. Main Responsibilities * Review the monthly quarterly and annual group reports to ensure compliance with IFRS * Creation of a group accounting policy document * Ensure consistent application of the group accounting policies across the group * Review of the quarterly Trading statements to ensure compliance * Development of standard IFRS 9 bad debt methodology * Work with the offshore Financials Shared Service Centre (FSS) to ensure IFRS 16 lease accounting is managed across the group * Prepare annual going concern paper / review * Manage EY on delivery of IAS 36 intangible valuations and impairment reviews * Manage EY on delivery of IFRS 2 management incentive valuation and accounting * Ensure all provisions are correctly managed under IAS 37 * Prepare annual IFRS 15 cut off error qualification. Perform IFRS 15 revenue recognition reviews each month and in respect of particular deal proposals as they arise * Review inventory position and provisions * Liaise with internal and external auditors About you! Experience * Professional accounting qualification, preferably ACA * Preferably from a big 4 training environment * Extensive IFRS experience gained in an International organization with a complex matrix organisation * Strong / advanced excel, word and powerpoint skills * SAP experience preferred Personal qualities * Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail * Strong communication skills * Ability to prioritise and communicate prioritisation choices * Ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment * Flexibility to deal with changing * Strong stakeholder management skills * Highly organised You'll have to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and it will take hard work and determination; we will give you the ownership you need to make an impact.
