Behaviours: Knowledge of relevant procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Job Description Job objectives and responsibilities Supply Chain Co-ordinator is responsible for allocating subcontractor work effectively and in line with agreed parameters. In addition, the Supply Chain Co-ordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end process whilst also raising purchase orders. Main duties To manage and monitor the allocated work to key subcontractors, making certain satisfactory usage when updating Work Orders in Maximo, ensuring Work Orders are completed in adherence with agreed SLA's and KPI's and statutory compliance certification is provided and recorded on the system, prior to the completion of Work Orders by subcontractors Raise PO's in line with contract and agreed authorisation levels Monitor SLA's and ensure adherence, managing KPIs with our supply chain Monitoring and analysis of general supply problems identifying and implementing improvements To coordinate the subcontract process through effective liaison with other teams paying specific attention to lead times, KPI's, SLA's and agreed contractual liabilities To build, maintain and enhance relationships directly with our external clients, supplies, operations team and central departments Continuously review the internal processes and practices and make recommendations for improving the efficiency of the Supply Chain function Ensure communication with client and sub-contractors is clear (e.g. booking in visits, adherence to all client or Mitie specific security or health & safety procedures upon arrival) In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined you may be required to perform other duties assigned and requested by the Line Manager. This role will support a new scheduling process and tool for MTFM and as such duties may be changed in the initial 6 months in consultation with you whilst we refine and finalise this role as an integral part of our new operating model Qualifications Person Specification Excellent communicator both verbal and in writing Analytical and organisational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritise Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Negotiation and Problem solving skills Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines Must be numerate. Knowledge of Maximo or similar CAFM system is preferable Attention to detail Additional Information Health and Safety responsibilities Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times; Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment; Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received; Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system; Information Security Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities; Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager; Report actual and suspected security incidents; Note This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
