Job Description
Opportunities have arisen to join the in-house Care Team based at De Lacey Gardens near Pontefract. We are looking to recruit confident, caring, enthusiastic individuals to work as part of the front line care team. Your primary role is to assist and promote independence with all daily living activities, which includes personal care (assisting with washing, dressing/undressing) and administering medication in line with individual service users care plans. The support you provide will enable those living in their own homes within the 46 apartment complex to live as independent life as possible. This essential service is provided 7 days a week. The hours of work are between 07:00 to 23:00 hours on an established rota that includes alternating shifts, weekends and bank holidays, where an additional shift allowance will be paid. If you have experience of working in a care setting, have a person centred approach to care, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills, we would like to hear from you.
