Package: 9.25/hour Mitie has a great opportunity for a Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team; the Security Officer will be part of the dedicated relief team for a prestigious client who is an international airline with sites based in Cardiff and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role. As part of Mitie's Total Security Management Team, you will be reporting to the on site Operations Manager. Roles and responsibilities * You will be working as part of a Security team to deliver various tasks . * Responding to various alarms and emergency call outs across site . * Control access and egress to site. * Dealing with various stakeholders and clients of Mitie's customer. Qualifications SIA License, Driving license and GSAT qualified is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Additional Information Health and Safety responsibilities * Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times; * Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment; * Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received; * Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system; Information Security * Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities; * Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager; * Report actual and suspected security incidents; Note This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
