Overview
Job Description
The Safeguarding Adults team is recruiting! Are you interested in developing your skills in Safeguarding Adults and The Mental Capacity Act? This is a brilliant development opportunity for a Band 6 wanting to take the next step in their Nursing career by moving into the field of Safeguarding Adults. We understand this could feel quite a big step, potentially moving from a patient facing role to a role that feels quite different. For that reason, we're offering a 9 month Secondment opportunity. You will work as part of the Safeguarding Adults team on the Safeguarding Adults and MCA agendas. The role is Trust wide, delivering a service to all 3 trust sites, Basingstoke North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital and Andover War Memorial Hospital. The post holder will be significantly visible in the organisation and be able to utilise their excellent communication skills to provide advice and support around Safeguarding issues, to staff across HHFT. As part of this varied role, the successful applicant will also have a responsibility for delivering training to staff across the Trust. You will be supported within a friendly team who are committed to providing the best for patients and staff across an Organisation which aims to deliver 'Outstanding Care for every Patient'. If you consider this opportunity could be just what you've been looking for, please get in touch for an informal discussion and to ask any questions you might have about this opportunity.
