Job Description

Job Purpose: As part of the GSG UK Team the role is to partner with GSG Bankers and RAMs (Regional Relationship Managers) on an assigned portfolio of clients, by providing consistent, enthusiastic, high quality support of relationship management activities. The portfolio consists of Citi's subsidiary clients across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities: + Partner with GSG Bankers and RAMs in support of new business and revenue growth for a designated portfolio of clients. + Provide guidance and support to the dedicated Subsidiary network and co-ordinate closely with Parent Account Management Teams + Support account strategies by developing an institutional understanding of the client, eg; their treasury model and philosophy, funding model and cash management strategy, wallet sharing and bank group, decision making, subsidiary support policy. + Effectively engage the Network and Product partners in support of opportunities and help position / market products and services to client + Secure effective engagement of Product, Service and Delivery to support the execution and resolution of client related issues. + Drive the credit approval process, respond to credit requests and enquiries, monitor credit lines and usages, support over-rides, recommend efficiencies. + Ensure Legal, Support and Credit documentation is up to date. + Act as a back up to Banker + Support the resolution of Compliance/KYC/AML related risk issues Knowledge/Experience: + Knowledge of Citi's credit policies and procedures + Understanding of KYC and regulatory environment + Good understanding of Citi's flow products (cash management, trade, FX, loans) + Strong Research capability through various applications to obtain data + Positive track record of working in a demanding environment and under pressure Qualifications: + Bachelor/ Master Degree + Fluent in English + Proven successful track record in working with external and internal clients Skills: + Ability to manage demands from several sources, working to tight deadlines,multitasking + proven organizational skills + Disciplined and punctual + Ability to engage partners and leverage the network + Articulate in both verbal and written communication: + High degree of accuracy and attention to detail / clarity + Proactive working style, motivated with can-do attitude + Team player with pro-active engagement Competencies: + Able to create and sustain valuable working relationships with clients and with product partners and stakeholders + Able to take the initiative to follow through whilst exercising sound judgment as to when to seek assistance or escalation + Works as a partner and seen as a team player + Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and similarly at all levels on the client side + Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills. + Able to function effectively and maintain objective under pressure This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
