Avasant's London office leads its consulting practice for the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Description: Delivery of business and technology consulting engagements and work streams for large and medium enterprises, governments and International funding agencies focusing on enterprise/sector transformation and optimisation strategies. These engagements have multi-level transformational impact including business, technical, organisational, operational, and cost reduction opportunities. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a top-rated school required Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred, but not required Additional qualifications in Design Thinking, Lean, Six Sigma desirable, not essential. Experience: 5 years of management consulting and/or operations management, in a consulting firm or professional services group in outsourcing service providers Managing client relationships with senior-level clients Consulting experience in at least some or many of the following areas: o Process mapping and documentation, problem analysis and reporting, solution design in the areas of business transformation and strategic sourcing, Market scanning and analysis, & Financial and Risk Modeling o Strategic sourcing - strategy, developing RFP statements of work, financials, governance and service management, direct hands-on experience in architecting, executing and managing transition planning and support activities and Business Process and technology assessment Managing large budgets and ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost of engagements Support of intellectual capital in new growth areas Support for proposal development Other Requirements: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Exceptional interpersonal and client skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives Demonstrated leadership, client management, project management and business development skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Multi-lingual skills (European languages) desirable Willingness to travel across EMEA, with the potential for travel to other regions This is a hands-on consulting delivery role.
