Job Description
An exciting opportunity have arisen within NHS Fife in partnership with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to expand the existing specialist cardiology nursing services to implement a 21 month project to identify and support patients with HCM and heir immediate relatives through cascade screening as part of a national project across 5 health boards in Scotland. These motivated individuals will have the responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of person centered HCM Services within NHS Fife. Extensive post-registration experience is required with proven abilities in nursing patients with heart disease and particular experience of working with patients with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of HCM. A relevant post registration qualification in Arrhythmia Management or an equivalent qualification would be desirable. Post-holders must be flexible to meet the needs of the service, have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team. Hours of duty are 18.75 per week, this position will be a 21 month fixed term post.
