Community Nursing - South Warwickshire Area We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Community Nurses to work within our community teams based in South Warwickshire. This includes Stratford, Shipston, Warwick, Leamington, Kenilworth, Alcester and other surrounding areas. As a county we are proud of the services our community teams provide. They are developing ground breaking new services designed to help patients better manage their own conditions, stay out of hospital and use the latest systems and technology to provide the most efficient and effective health care possible. We have grown considerably in our community teams over the past few years and we need excellent people to continue our journey of innovation and development. Lots of our patients have long term conditions and complex health needs. Working with us you could gain skills in a number of areas ranging from wound care management, catheter care, rehabilitation, IV therapies and end of life care. The service operates from 8.00am until midnight. Applicants will also be expected to work weekends and Bank holidays on a rota basis. To be successful in our community teams you will need to be able to demonstrate how your excellent clinical skills are delivered through behaviour which meets our core values. Ideally you will have experience of working in a community setting however, if you don't have this experience but really want to work in the community we still want to hear from you. Working in the community means you need to be flexible and able to travel. Assessment To help us achieve our vision of providing the best possible healthcare, South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust run Assessment Centres to select its future employees. These vary depending on the vacancy but their core purpose is to create an environment in which you, along with other candidates are able to demonstrate key workplace skills. The Assessment Centre will be an opportunity for you get a feel for the culture, leadership, and learning opportunities within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Assessment is based on a numeracy test, an interview and a group exercise which will be undertaken against the core values and behaviours that our employees pride themselves with.
