Amazon invests on acquiring, producing and programming TV shows & movies - from brand new, including must-see exclusive series like The Grand Tour, Good Omens, The Boys, Neil Gaiman's American Gods, to The Man in the High Castle, Transparent, Mr Robot and more. The marketing team for Amazon Prime Video in the UK, London and they have the responsibility for driving the customer growth and engagement with this service through a very broad combination of marketing channels across EU. As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will work in a team of high performing Business Analysts and Data Scientists and you will be a thought partner of the Amazon Video EU marketing team. The marketing team is highly data driven and you will be responsible for partnering with them on a wide variety of customer and content insights including streaming, movies and shows KPIs, conversion and retention analyses. Working closely with internal clients, the successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder management, Big Data analytics, advanced modelling techniques as well as good communication skills. In order to scale and have the same pace this rapidly evolving business, the Analytics team is increasingly focused on automation and creating self-serve platforms to make its models and insights available throughout Amazon Video. In addition, we value curiosity to learn and a fearless approach to evaluating and adopting new analytical technologies, methods and approaches. Key Skills: Ability to translate business problems into analytical tasks and initiatives to support the growth of our shows Ability to communicate results to a business audience in a clear and concise way Project and stakeholder management Experience of working with business leads and marketing teams to successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. Deep analytical abilities, specifically but not limited to campaign performance and experiment design and analysis Excellent data manipulation skills. SQL required Experience of advanced modelling techniques Strong statistical skills This position will suit a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst or Business Analyst that has specifically worked with marketing data and has experience with SQL and data manipulation.
